Another experiment. This time I made a sushi charm bracelet for my sister I made everything, even the bracelet
So this is, starting from the top and clockwise:
1. a nigirimeshi (the rice thingy) 2. a salmon kozouzushi (raw salmon over rice), 3. naruto kamaboko (fishcake with a whirlpool) 4. egg kozouzushi (egg over rice) 5. and a salmon and avocado maki
The maki and naruto come from canes I made. The rest are hand made one by one, without molds or premades.
The naruto kamaboko was particularly troublesome I spent many hours, clay and neurones trying to figure out a way to make it look, in the lack of a better term, like a flower. It drove me mad a for a few days and even made me want to quit claying. I think that it looks cool now, but the whirlpool is still ugly.
My sister loves sushi and loves jewelry, so she liked it a lot and I'm extremely pleased. Her wrist is very thin, but the photo made the bracelet look even thiner than it really is
Materials: Sculpey III, glaze, toothpicks, metal rings, eyepins and pliers.
Comments and suggestions are always much appreciated Every word of constructive criticism is a present to me and helps me improve.
