Black cat polymer clay planter

This is a small planter I made for my tiny cactus. The planter is based on my own cat Freddie. It was made with polymer clay by me, no molds or premades were used. About 2.5 years ago, when we had just moved to our house, my hubby and I were doing some garden work and I found a tiny cactus growing in the middle of nowhere. It was barely 1 cm tall so cute and small! I knew it would be stomped if left there, so I transferred it to a small plastic cup. I was scared the cats would flip the cup or poke a paw, so I placed it in the window of our spare room, which is off limits for the cats. Soon, the spare room became the mess room (ah, the natural evolution of spare rooms) and I started to forget about watering it. I recently got worried about it, so I decided to make a planter I could place on a wall far away from the kitties reach.

This is what I came up with, using Freddie as my inspiration. The whole planter is nothing but polymer clay: polymer clay is strong, durable, water resistant and the colors don't face with prolonged exposure to the sun or elements. The face was made with polymer clay too. I used tiny cuters to cut the heart shapes and the flower shaped hole. I made my best to make the surface super smooth and perfect. I am super happy with the way it turned out

It now sits on the wall right next to the garden's door, I don't forget to water it anymore and it gets a lot of sun now I feel the need to get more tiny cacti and make a small cacti garden on the wall. It's just too adorable

Technical stuff: All polymer clay, no molds or premades. I used two kemper cuters, flower and heart shapes in the smallest size. A single heart rhinestone was glued on th bow.
