here is the Wanderberry in its final home, I love the way it looks with the dolls! It looks so much better. It makes me happy just to see it

This was a commission for =Brookette, she asked me to make a Wanderberry for her daughter to play with her Strawberry Shortcake dolls and with a bail to use as a pendant too. It was such a sweet idea, so I couldn't refuse it! I took great care in sticking everything securely and making sure everything was sturdy, I would hate it if it ever broke on the hands of her daughter.

I have never watched Strawberry Shortcake, so I had no idea what a Wanderberry was. =Brookette was really patient working with me to get the right size and provided really helpful reference pictures, she's a sweetheart

When she told me her idea I thought it would be easy, but... well... are you familiar with something called "Murphy's Law?"

I have never had a commission go so wrong, in so many ways, in every step. At some point I wanted to cry, refund her the money and give up, but that's not the kind of person I am. It took me a lot longer tan expected to complete it, but I'm really happy that in the end it worked out and that they liked it

So, never give up on any project! Thank you =Brookette for being so patient with me.

Technical stuff: All handmade with polymer clay, no molds were used, every single ball was hand rolled by me. This design is not mine, the Wanderberry idea/design/etc belongs to Strawberry Shortcake.
