Oh wow! Look at that! I made cakes, how unusual! (sarcasm)

I seriously don't want to be the "girl that only knows how to make cakes", but I always get cake requests from my family and friends. And I also have to admit that I really enjoy making cakes...

Anyway, I've always admired cake art. I've spent hours looking at beautifully decorated cakes, specially those intricate decorations they make over fondant like these: [link] [link] . I just had to try it, this is what I came up with.

Please let me tell you that I hate these photographs. I HATE THEM. They all came out either too shiny or too dark, and I didn't notice how awful the photos were until all the cakes were spread among my acquaintances, so I had to do the best that I could.
