Halloween Cupcakes by Talty Halloween Cupcakes by Talty

These were a gift for a friend, but sadly it seems like they got lost in the mail :( I have to re-make them for her, but I wanted to post them here since it's almost Halloween time :D I don't know if she will see this post... but if you do, I hope you like them! (and don't worry, I'll send you a new pair :)) I'm really happy and proud of how they turned out, the little cookies are insanely small and all the details were made with polymer clay, nothing was painted. I really love the small vampires, they are so insanely cuteeee  I don't know why but the red eyes are adorable. The tiny ghost glows in the dark, it's the first time I use glow in the dark clay and it was fun to do. It doesn't glow as much as I would like, but it's enough to make it interesting and fun :D

The cookies are really small, but I still made sure to texture them and give them a slightly toasted look. The little witch hats are supposed to be something like a hershies over a cookie with a bit of frosting in the middle, or something shaped like that. The candy corn was really complicated to do, I wanted to get the colors and translucency just right. We don't celebrate Halloween so I'm not completely confident about this, I tried to do my best so I hope that it's accurate.

I haven't decided if I want to post them in my Etsy or Storenvy, but if anyone wants to buy them (or anything similar) please contact me :)

Technical stuff: All handmade with polymer clay by me. The cupcakes were made with lightweight clay, so they're extremely light and comfortable to use :) the cookies were made without the use of molds or premades. A little bit of pastel dust was used to make them look baked.

ahs'a gonna try spme 'o your recipes..., or some ideas inspired by your stuff, soon in my new kitchen! I shall post the results...
but: please be gentle with my first foodie uploads when you:

1: laugh hysterically...
2: quietly sigh and think: "keep your day job Peter, knots really work for you...."
3: get pissed off for a change when I seductively display sensual gastronomy on the screen in front of you and you CAN'T TOUCH IT! and growl frustrated in a fit of pique like you make me do so often!
etc....

Cheers! Peter :)
