-¡Sí, Sara! ¿La has visto? – respondió un muy emocionado joven.
-Ahh… hmmm… - tartamudeó sin saber en que problema se había metido – eso creo…
-¡Que bueno! Ven, ven conmigo por favor.
-Pero yo estaba… - dijo Helena evitando ser jalada por el brazo.
-¡Es cierto! – respondió, sacando unas monedas y aventándolas descuidadamente al vendedor – Con eso debe bastar. ¡Ven vamos, vamos!

Lotus Flower and Opal Crescent Moonby ^Talty

This is a commission I did for ~ShadowTsuki, this is her design. She wanted me to do a lotus flower and a crescent moon as stud earrings. The crescent moon has an opal effect which looks GREAT and I added a starry background, dark blue clay with silver mica

she wanted the lotus flower to fade to purple, so I painted it by hand to get that effect. The lotus flower was a big pain to make since all the petals had to be pretty much identical and it had to be made in MANY steps. I had to find a balance between accuracy and strength, I was afraid to make the petals so thin that they would break. I'm happy with how it turned out, and I hope that she'll like it too

Technical stuff: Polymer clay, the petals were painted to resemble a lotus flower, everything has a good layer of glaze for shine and added strength. Both are mounted on stainless steel studs. Each earring is 1.5 cm ~ a bit over half an inch in diameter.

I can imagine the flower being a really awesome candle holder or something. I love the colours in the flower, they are so striking! Oh my, the moon is so so pretty, I think the glitter you've added in the background makes it more realistic.
