This was part of the commission I made for ~Unseeing-Oblivion, she told me that her mom's favorite cake is chocolate mousse cake and she asked me to make her a pendant, this is actually the second version of it; after finishing the first cake I made I noticed that since the sides of the cake were mousse they were very smooth, if anything with a couple of holes here and there... but the cake I made looked like it had frosting so after freaking out a bit I decided to remake it, and this was the one I sent her the other cake was given away some months ago.
I also re-made some things that I thought I could improve from the first cake, I made the top decorations a bit more distinct but I made them still look piped, I used whole strawberries instead of halves (because I think they look more delicious) and I got rid of the icing sugar. I know some people like the icing sugar, but I prefer the cleaner look of this version ah and you can barely tell in the photos, but the bottom is slightly darker as if the mousse was sitting on top of a waffer or a cookie.
She told me that they both liked it, so I'm extremely happy ^^
Technical stuff: All handmade with polymer clay, acrylic paints were used for the seeds, and some glaze for the strawberries. No molds, premades or anything similar was used, it's 100% handmade. The findings were bought on my local jewelry supply store. I forgot to measure it, but I think it was around 2.5 cm ~ 1 inch.
Thanks for the reply
Deliciuos!
