Mondkatze 14: Pancake Sixdream

This was a commission for `ShePaintsWithBlood, and also the first Mondkatze commission I received for my animal shelter fund she wanted me to do the moon steampunk style, which I've never tried before! She was kind enough to procure the pieces and let me decide the design. She asked to do the cat purple with orange spots, also a first time for me so I was a bit scared... she said it's an exaggerated version of her own cat when I finished it I noticed it kinda looks like an alebrije, a sort of folks art here in Mexico. She told me that she liked it and (like usual) that she's surprised by how small it is! I really love making small things

The clock was my favorite of all the pieces she sent it and I thought it was perfect to be part of the moon. She also sent me tiny stars which are extremely adorable and I loved them! A couple of the cogs had to be pressed because the space available was too small, I tried to cut them and place them but they looked odd so I decided to press them and paint them. I hate saying things like "it looks much better in person" because it sounds like an excuse, but I swear this time it is for real Oo it looks ten times better in person, and I'm really proud of how it looks! Now I can say I've tried a new style, Steampunk

As some of you already know I love animals, so I looked for a local non-kill shelter to donate and volunteer. I found one that is doing an amazing job helping animals, I contacted them and they're awesome. I want to start raising funds for them, so from now on all the profits I make from Mondkatze and Mondhund (minus shipping and materials) will be saved and donated to my local no-kill and no-profit shelter, I will make every donation public and post the recipt to prove that I'm doing this for real, I will also write a journal about them soon. I think that this is a great chance for us animal lovers, you can get a customized piece of your pets AND donate to animals in need if anyone is interested contact me!

I'm accepting commissions for this, I can customize the moon with any combination of colors you want, or make it flat instead of textured, round, shiny, anything! If you send me reference photos I will also make an exact miniature copy of your own cat, dog or any cat/dog you want.
