Here's my second Mondkatze pendant. My mom wanted me to use the same colors I used
for the first one but she wanted me to put Paka instead of Buba. Paka is a calico, so it was a challenge to paint her spots xD specially because I tried to copy her while she was sleeping right next to me, but she kept moving so I made a couple of tiny mistakes -.- so I'll use photos only from now on, cats move too much even when they're sleeping

my favorite part is the tail, Paka's tail has lots of broken rings of ginger and black, so it was a bit of a challenge to paint

Comments and suggestions are always much appreciated!

Materials: Sculpey III, acrylic paints, mica, triple thick glaze.

Would you like to commission a Mondkatze?
I'm accepting commissions for this, I can customize the moon with any combination of colors you want, or make it flat instead of textured, round, shiny, anything! If you send me reference photos I will also make an exact miniature copy of your own cat or any cat you want. You can read
my commission info here and my
pricelist here.
My boyfriend and I have made up tons of cute stories about us living in the Moon and creating our ideal world. Since we both love cats and identify a lot with them, eventually the term "Mondkatze" (Mooncat) surged - it's in German because we both study German and we like to speak in German between us to practice.
