This was a commission, when I finished it I took photos and put them all together like this. I thought it looked better, but the file is huge so I divided it in 4 pieces and published them individually. This Friday on the #ArtisanCrafts chat `Romaji organized a scavenger's hunt (it was super fun) and one of the clues involved the fan on top of the chopstick. Today I remembered this, looked at them all together and I realized I was right, they look better together :stare: so I'm submitting it, even if the file is big XD but I think it gives a better idea of the work and details I did, and how they work together.

Lesson's learned: Always go with your first instinct and life is random. Also, `Romaji organizes super fun chat games.

I recently learned that Maneki-nekos are bobtail cats, which have short stubby tails  It annoys me to see the long fluffy tail now :( also, my old watermark is a lot more intrusive, I didn't notice it until now :o aaaaand I feel a lot more comfortable painting faces now, I should try making another maneki-neko :P

Technical stuff: All handmade with polymer clay, no molds, premades or bought pieces were used. The flowers were made cutting the basic shapes with flower cutters, then polished and shaped to look better. I used natural bamboo chopsticks, they're meant to be used as hair decoration. This is a one of a kind piece, made with my commissioner's design.
