I love this set, I hate these photos.

I made this back in November for my friend's birthday . We share a big addiction love for coffee, so I thought she would like this I painted a tiny bunny in the cup because that's her nickname. Her favorite color is purple so I painted highlights in purple, and some really tiny flowers in the saucer. It's all very small! The flowers next to the bunny are nail decorations I thought would look cute next to the bunny.

After at least a year of trying different techniques, I finally made a cup I like! I didn't want to make a simplified cup, I wanted to make it very realistic and complicated because I'm that stupid. After a year of trying, lots of wasted clay, burns and cuts, this was finally born xD (and yes, I will make a tutorial). The saucer is actually really easy, I used the same technique that I use for my plate tutorial just smaller and with a different shape: [link]

I painted the TLS with oil paints to make the coffee, and it puffed! Silly thing I wasn't expecting it at all, I thought that only happened with acrylic paints because the water in the acrylics bubbles, but why did it happen with oils? T_T well that's something to keep in mind next time. Learn from my mistakes, kiddos! I'm quite proud of those coffee beans I love how the texture turned out, I can almost smell the coffee

Of course I forgot to take reference photos, but the coffee beans are in real scale so you can get an idea of the size of the cup, almost as small as a coffee bean. The bunny is quite small, about 4-5mm. I took the two photos with the cup in a rush and I regret it, I almost didn't publish this because I think they're terrible... but on the other hand I love the cup and the coffee beans and I wanted to share them. I took the last photo calmly and you can tell the difference, so again, learn from my mistakes kiddos! Be patient when you take photos and make sure you get enough light!
