This was a commission for ~guinluvsc, she wanted something like my lemon pie earrings but without the pie, which is funny because I always though that the pie was the interesting part. They ended up looking a lot like the earrings ~Madizzo made, she was the one that inspired me to start making citrus earrings. She's super nice, when I asked her if I could borrow her idea she said she couldn't have been the first one to think about it, and gave me permission to go ahead. Really, visit her gallery it's made of pure awesomeness.

This is made after my lemon pie earrings

which were based on my orange cake earrings

which were inspired by ~Madizzo's lime halves dangle earrings

whew! a complete circle

Materials: Polymer clay, metal findings, glaze.

_{Esta es una comisión para ~guinluvsc, ella me pidió que hiciera aretes como los de pie de lima que ya había hecho, pero sin el pie, lo que se me hizo extraño porque pensé que el pie era lo mejor de esos aretes. Terminaron luciendo muy parecidos a los aretes que ~Madizzo había hecho, ella fue quien me inspiró a hacer aretes de cítricos. Ella es super amable, cuando le pregunté si podía usar su idea me dijo que ella no pudo haber sido la primera en pensarla, y me dio permiso de usarla.
