that's the worst thing about photographing miniatures, all the stray dust is painfully obvious. It was superficial, not part of the clay so it can be brushed off.

I think that lemon halves are more interesting, more complicated to do too... but it's worth it 
This lemon pie? [link] it looks perfectly yellow and delicious to me, I think we actually went for the same shade of translucent yellow it's also funny that I used a similar background color, maybe that's why some people are seeing it greenish. I still blame their monitor configuration.
