Purple Park

Every spring my city becomes purple when the jacaranda trees blossom. I don't know how common jacarandas are in other places, but my city is full of them

Jacarandas blossom once a year with the first sign of spring, they don't have leaves at that time so they look completely purple. After a few days the flowers fall, creating a purple carpet around them.

I took this photo in a place we call "The Purple Park", it consists almost exclusively of jacarandas, so in spring it becomes purple! It's very beautiful, I tried to show how purple it is but I wasn't too pleased with the result... I still need to improve my photography skills! (and maybe get a new camera).
