Rainbow Cupcake Earrings Polymer Clay

This was a lovely commission of vanilla cupcakes with rainbow frosting, and I really love the way they turned out she wanted them as earrings, so I tried to make them cute and realistic at the same time, while also keeping them small and light for comfortable wearing. Piping multi-colored polymer clay can be quite troublesome because the colors tend to blend and create an ugly brown mush. It reminded me of my childhood and my experiments with Play-Doh, and how many of them turned into an ugly brown disaster. I tried my best to keep the colors clean and bright, and this is how they turned out. I'm quite proud and excited, and I would love to make more! She received them already and told me she really liked them, so it was all worth it

Technical stuff: All handmade with polymer clay by me, I used a cupcake mold I made myself but other than that I didn't use other molds or pre-mades. The sprinkles are micro marbles I bought. Things like this are available for commission.
