Well I finally had the time to finish something. This was a very long project because I could only work on it a few minutes per day... that's why it's very belated! It's a gift for a friend whose birthday was almost two weeks ago
Anyway... These are some red roses stud earrings. They have little golden sparks, which by some mystery look like silver freckles in photos! I made everything and soldered the metal bits It's my first time working with metal and soldering, so it's not as perfect as I wanted it to be.
Made with Sculpey III, silver wire, silver chain, silver pins, solder, soldering gun, and lots of patience! And those little metal bits to secure the silver chain, whose name I don't know
The Earrings are beautiful. I was wondering though, the leaves look a bit flat in comparison to the rose. Have you thought of making a leaf cane? I saw a tutorial on how to make them on youtube and it made me think of your earrings.
Thanks! I've considered making the leaves a bit more realistic, I would probably try making them less chubby too XD thank you for the suggestion, I'm glad to know that there's interest in a more realistic version
I remember you, how's doggy? I hope he doesn't keep eating all your stuff
I would love to! Actually I changed the design a bit, I no longer use the flat chain (or whatever it is called) but now I use regular chain like this [link] if you're still interested let me know! They would look like that, except that with any color you want
Pretty! I really like the color scheme of the original roses, with the red petals and the dark green leaves, actually. So... if you could make that, that would be awesome!
(Also: My dog absolutely keeps eating my stuff! D: I had cut out a bunch of fabric hearts to sew into valentines and when I walked away to get pins he ate them! They didn't even look like food... )
