In August #projecteducate will host the Daily Deviation week, which will look into informing, demystifying and exposing everything going around Daily Deviations, from how to get one to what do they really represent. A lot of CVs led by ^Astralseed are involved, so it's going to be a very promising week!
However we need to know what the community wants to know
Some questions to consider:
What do you think about DDs? What are they to you?
What questions do you have about them? Is there anything confusing or vague about them?
Have you ever received a DD?
Have you ever suggested a DD? If not, why not? If yes, how often do you suggest them?
Do you think that the descriptions are important?
These are just some suggestions to sort of start your brain, of course feel free to ask or discuss whatever you want

A fine way to feature work, with a nice gold banner and gold stamp beside it. They're a way to show what deviantART is about. Sometimes I think they're a little heavy with anime art, but what do I know?
What questions do you have about them? Is there anything confusing or vague to you?
No. I think even finding current moderators is easy to do.
Have you ever received a DD?
Yes.
Have you ever suggested a DD? -- If yes, how often do you suggest them?
I suggest a DD about once week. I suggest more often if I see "worthy" art more often. I tend to suggest DDs in several categories, which makes keeping up with 'who takes what' suggestion important.
Do you think that the descriptions are important?
This question is a tad confusing. If you mean the little blurbs under a suggestion? - yes, I think they can be very good, if edited when they need to be (I'm a typo-queen
An extra:
It seems to me that work in "deviantART ID / deviant-related" could be separate from the six-month rule -- maybe.
When I asked about the descriptions I meant the description under the DD itself, but I appreciate that you gave your opinion about both
And about the extra, why do you think they could be separated?
Descriptions:
I'm sometimes a wordy writer. I covered every description related to DDs I thought of
Extra:
I see some deviants change their "deviantART ID"-s nearly as often as they change their style or their clothes.
That's all I meant, and it probably isn't worth two cents in the general shape of things.
If you cook, *raspil leaves recipes for her cookies under photos she posts of them.
I like looking through them, but sometimes it just seems like dA suggesting someone to get more favourites, although it probably isn't.
What questions d you have about them? Is there anything confusing about them?
How sometimes I see stuff that personally I think doesn't deserve a DD. I know, I'm horrible.
Have you ever received a DD?
No
Have you ever suggested a DD? If not, why not?
No. I'm basically confused about how to.
Do you think the descriptions are important?
Yes, I hate seeing a repeat of the title or an ellipsis in the description.

And suggesting a DD is very easy, and you can suggest yourself too! To suggest a DD you simply have to send a note to the appropriate CV in charge of that gallery, you can find the list of CV and a better description of the process here: FAQ #18: Who selects the Daily Deviation and how is it chosen?
