What this is about: There is seemingly a million crafts, and  little by little we are building up a sort of encyclopedia of crafts.  However, it's impossible for a couple of people to know them all...  here's where you come in. We want to make this a community effort,  please help us with your knowledge to make this happen! This is also the  chance to bring the spotlight to unrecognized and unknown crafts, so if  you know of any craft that isn't included yet, please leave a message!!  Every contribution will be credited :)

What we're looking for:  Crafts, techniques, materials, themes. Crafts and techniques are what  we're most interested in and will be given preference on this list.

What to do:  Leave a comment with your contribution! It would be best if you leave  it on the page that would correspond to the first letter of your  suggestion. If you can leave a small description and a few thumb  examples, it would be even better! MAKE SURE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN ADDED IN PREVIOUS YEARS!

When it will be published: Artisan Crafts Week 2013, starting February 11th! Please get your contributions before that :)

THANK  YOU SO MUCH! PLEASE PROMOTE THIS! If everyone helps just a little bit,  it will be really easy to finish! I know that we have a fabulous artisan  crafts community, so I thank you advance. You can check what we did the  previous years to get a better idea of what this project is about:

F is for French Beaded Flowers! This beading technique dates back to the 1500s in Europe, and although it's still not as well known as many other techniques, it seems to be getting a little more popular these days. With french beading, you string tiny seed beads onto thin copper wire, then shape this into petals. The petals are put together to make 3-d flowers that can be full size, miniature, or larger than life. :)
